[Razzel and I with Bishop Jun Escosar (over Zoom) during our 24-hour prayer meeting in 2025]
We are completely aware—more accurately, we are fully convinced—that our relationship is founded on one central purpose: service to Jesus and His Good News. Our calling together is to love the Lord, love His people, and love the world with the same devotion and care He has shown us.
After revealing Himself to His disciples for the first time following His resurrection, Jesus said in John 20:21, “As the Father has sent Me, so I am sending you.” We both know that Jesus has sent us on mission.
Now, with nearly a year of marriage behind us—a year spent seeking God’s direction—we believe our shared mission and ministry together is focused on the following areas:
Support
Our greatest calling in service, second only to loving Jesus, is to one another. This priority comes before any ministry outside our home. And yet, most of our ministry flows from our unity.
We deeply enjoy working side by side—it is one of our greatest joys. Whether Razzel is spearheading a ministry and I am supporting her, or vice versa, we are honored and grateful to serve right beside one another for the rest of our lives.
Discipleship
(Connect Groups & Leadership Development)
Razzel has been walking in one of her strongest callings for many years: discipleship. She has a unique ability to recognize hunger for God—especially among women—and to naturally bring people alongside her through mentoring, counsel, and connection to God’s purpose for their lives.
She develops leaders relationally and intentionally, often so naturally that the depth of her impact—on hundreds of women around the world—can go unnoticed unless you’re paying close attention.
Now, as a couple, we get to walk in this together. While Razzel continues her focused ministry to women, together we are able to minister to couples and singles in ways neither of us could do alone. We have intentionally made our home a safe, welcoming place for others, and it has been incredibly rewarding to disciple and care for people through one-on-one relationships and connect groups—together.
Outreach
(Evangelism, Community Outreach & Community Care)
We both carry a deep heart for the lost—from the most powerful and influential in our city to the most broken and overlooked. David has seen fruit both in personal evangelism and in training others to share their faith. Razzel has faithfully led community care and outreach initiatives in our church for years.
Together, we make a powerful outreach team, and we genuinely love ministering hand-in-hand. We believe this will be one of our greatest areas of growth—and joy—as we move forward.
Business
We believe our calling extends beyond the church into the world around us. We are currently building two businesses: Link Stereo and Link’s Curated. God’s grace and favor have been evident as we connect with manufacturers, partners, and customers alike.
Our desire is to be a significant blessing—to people, to ministries, and to communities locally and globally. A key part of this calling is the ability to provide practical support in meaningful ways. We eagerly anticipate the abundance God has promised—not simply for ourselves, but so it may overflow to bless thousands of others.
