Family Matters, #2

We had the privilege of hosting Mama and Manang (older sister in Ilokano) Cynthia in our apartment for nearly the whole month of May.

On our way to Carmelo and Weng's home for a weekend slumber party. They treated us like family and treated us to so many delicious meals.

Having an adventurous dinner right along the the Hudson river. It was a beautiful day, and a challenging walk down in to the park for Mama (100+ stairs!)

We had a special time on a dinner date at the Apolinario's.

It was a truly bittersweet month, as we just took them to the airport two days ago. We already miss them; They are dear to us both.
