The Gospel Is The Best
We’re Focused on God’s Plan To Rescue And Restore
Our lives are focused on service to Jesus and His Good News. Why? Because it’s the only thing that can actually change hearts. Through the Gospel, God makes dirty people clean, broken people whole, and hopeless people joyful.
“The gospel is the good news that God became man in Jesus Christ. He lived the life we should have lived and died the death we should have died—in our place. Three days later He rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God and offering the gift of salvation to those who repent and believe in Him.” ―Rice Broocks, Man, Myth, Messiah: Answering History’s Greatest Question
For Razzel and I, the Gospel directs so all aspects of our lives. For me, my main focus is evangelism, both personally and helping others grow. I’ve learned that evangelism is not overbearing or unwelcome, but is the acto of sharing God’s love and blessing with our neighbors, wherever we go. I do this in many ways, and am beginning to teach our church how, as well—and showing them how through practice.

I just designed, ordered, and received 150 custom designed and written gospel tracts. It’s been an immensely rewarding labor-of-love crafting these. I’m so excited to hand them out around NYC!

This week we’ve hosted CHASE—Campus Harvest School of Evangelism—at our church. It’s been wonderful to be a part of these young men and women’s journey in life, as they grow in confidence to share their faith.
